This book is a documentation of an embroidery programme with about 200 women in rural Afghanistan. The programme was  initiated by textile artist Pascal Goldenberg, under the umbrella of Deutsch-Afghanische Initiative, a non-profit organisation. 5 years after the start of the programme, Pascale shares her impressions and experiences in a colourful journey to a country which we all know so well through the media, but may have never experienced from this perspective.
